Channeling Nancy Pelosi, are you? Try and add some original thought.
Thanks for finally taking the title conservative off your blog, since I will be at the Santa Ana rally with two Democrats. This has nothing to do with a political parties. Its a protest against taxes that have left this state in shambles. We elect people that don’t represent us. We pay taxes for programs that benefits people that shouldn’t even be here. The bottom line is, we are tired of government representing special interest with our tax money.
public pensions for everyone..
the recession is Over LOL
man we are screwed
I feel the same way Bob. We need to oust the entire Government and start fresh.
America has become a nation increasingly populated by people who have been programed to depend on the government for all of their needs. the ratio of dependent ones to those taxed to support them is becoming lopsided. It’s like a giant “Ponsi” scheme. Eventually, of course, people running the “Ponsi” scheme (your government reps)just like Bernie Madoff, will run out of enough suckers at the top to support the growing number of suckers at the bottom. The only difference between Bernie and the Fed is that the government will just have to become more aggressive and simply start outright confiscating your money or taking over your business, and they’ll do it with the complete support of those rely on handouts.
People claiming that the war in Iraq is the budget buster are wrong. The money may not have been wisely spent but the percentage is not overly significant. We would be paying to maintain an armed forces no matter what. Over fifty-two percent of the federal budget goes towards some kind of entitlement program.
People who choose politics as a career must always think about the next election and what kind of new “free”stuff to offer their growing dependent constituency at the expense of those who actually have to pay for it…because if their opponent is offering better “free”stuff they’ll lose and be out of work.
Tea parties will have no effect on the sociopaths we have put in office. They, like all sociopaths, are chameleons who will say whatever is necessary to maintain your confidence and turn right around and say just the opposite to another group.
I’m kind of surprised that welfare deadbeats and overextended mortgage holders aren’t planning counter-protests out there to protect their own interests.
If you think taxes are high now…wait till socialist Obama gets done…you ain’t seen nothin yet.
Does anyone else find it a little hypocritical that Dana Rohrbacher is attending a Tea Party?
He just requested $13 BILLION in earmarked spending for his district.
That’s right , $13 BILLION!
Now he has the “teabags ” to show up at a protest against government spending.
Crazy Dana….Ride the wave!
I was at the Santa Ana Tea Party and unless I missed it, Rohrbacher didn’t speak as originally announced.
DO NOT LISTEN TO WHAT BARACK OBAMA SAYS, BUT CAREFULLY WATCH WHAT HE DOES. HE REFUSES TO FIRE TIM GEITHNER, WHO LET AIG BONUS SCAM OCCUR. HE DOES NOT INCLUDE E-VERIFY PROTECTION INTO HIS ECONOMIC STIMULUS PACKAGE, CREATING 300,000 JOBS FOR ILLEGALS.
Barack Obama is the greatest liar in history (no wonder he is an excellent lawyer!). During his campaign, he told lots of hope in future for America if he was elected, but now he warns Americans of oncoming darker economy and not to put too much hope in his promises. He promises a big plan to reduce budget deficit but, while the nation was in deep depression, his inauguration ceremony was the most costly in history (50 millions) as well as his presidential campaign (600 millions), which was far more than his opponent John McCain’s. He vows to clean up Washington DC, but he failed to first clean up his homestate Illinois, one of the most corrupt state with the scandal of Governor Rod Blagojevich, who greatly helped Obama to win his state senate seat in 1996, 1998, and 2002; not mentioning that many of his cabinet nominees such as Tom Daschle, Tim Geithner, Nancy Killefer, Hilda Solis, and Bill Richardson avoided to pay taxes, hired illegal workers, or involved in corruption charges. Obama refused to include E-verify protection for American workers into his economic stimulus package of $787 billions, which would create at least 300,000 jobs for illegal immigrants. Obama denounced AIG massive bonus scam of $165 million, but refused to fire Timothy Geithner, his Treasury Secretary, who allowed that scam to occur. And his favorite slogan is “Yes, we CAN”, yet he himself CANNOT quit smoking at all !!! (Each year about 1.3 million American smokers quit successfully).
