Rep. John Campbellhas dealt with the shellacking the Republicans took at the polls on Nov. 4 in his own way - he’s not shaving.
I was surprised to see the Irvine Republican grilling the Big Three automakers today at the Financial Services Committee sporting a beard. I asked him later what the deal was.
“I stopped shaving election night,” Campbell said. “People want change? I will be the face of change.” Campbell is not yet pledging to keep the facial hair until the GOP takes Congress back. But so far so good. His wife likes it so for now it’s staying.
