GOP donor reveals his non-McCain voting decision

October 14th, 2008, 11:26 am · 3 Comments · posted by Martin Wisckol, Politics reporter

You may remember this column and blog item on prominent Orange County GOP donor Chip Hanlon, a Huntington Beach financial advisor who said he’s had it with John McCain thanks to the candidate’s statements on the economic meltdown.

So the question remains: Who will he vote for?

“I’ll just skip the presidential line on the ballot,” he said.

another right winger content on handing the election to Obama so we can live in a Socialist nation… great job guys.

it brings to mind the name of McCain’s book, “Worth The Fighting For”. not a whole lot of fighting by these short-sighted “roll over and take it” Republicans.

It is unbelievable, especially for conservative Orange County. The few issues you disagree with McCain on PALE (no pun intended) by comparison with what Obama will do.

I think it takes an incredible amount of gall and chutzpah for conservative Republicans to threaten us with Socialism when this Republican Administration has just done the greatest corporate socialist bailout, complete with buying corporate stock to keep banks afloat.

    What a crock!

At least Democrats don’t pretend to support Capitalism and then do Socialism only for the rich.

Why do you think Obama is ahead? Not because we all support his policies, but at least his lies are reasonable.

Just think. Republicans were horrified at the $150 billion price tag for single-payer healthcare for everyone.

That pales in comparison to the bailout of the 9 banks for pushing $2 Trillion now.
