The House just passed the bailout bill. They ae still voting butg just hit 222 votes. I’ll update with final as soon as vote is done.
As for the O.C. delegation, so far I know that Reps. Gary Miller, R-Diamond Bar; John Campbell, R-Irvine and Ken Calvert, R-Corona voted yes and that Reps. Dana Rohrabacher, R-Huntington Beach and Ed Royce, R-Fullerton, voted no. I’m still waiting to find out if Rep. Loretta Sanchez, D-Garden Grove, voted no as she did on Monday.
Because the House leaders did not allow any amendments to the Senate’s revision of the $700 billion financial plan, the bill - the Emergency Economic Stabilization Act of 2008 - will now go to President Bush’s desk and he’s expected to pass it.

We are now a fascist economy. When the rich make profits they keep them. Losses are socialized.
