Mark your calendars: presdential debates set

prezsplitjpg.jpgJohn McCain and Barack Obama’s campaigns have agreed on the dates and times for three presidential debates and a vice presidential face-off.

McCain and Obama will square off on Sept. 26 and Oct. 7 and 15. The as-yet-to-be-named veep candidates will debate on Oct. 2.

Here are the details:

  • Sept. 26, national security and foreign policy; University of Mississippi; Jim Lehrer moderator.
  • Oct. 2, vice presidential, Washington University, St. Louis; Gwen Ifill, moderator.
  • Oct. 7, town hall style; Belmont University, Nashville; Tom Brokaw, moderator
  • Oct. 15, domestic and economic policy; Hofstra University, New York; Bob Schieffer, moderator.

All the debates will begin at 6 p.m. Pacific time and last 90 minutes.
