Hearing this afternoon that Sheriff Sandra Hutchens will announce her command staff tomorrow.
The sheriff’s department has scheduled a press conference for 2 p.m. on the fifth floor of the Brad Gates Forensic Science Center.
Will Assistant Sheriff Jack Anderson stay? Will there be a fourth assistant sheriff? Will a captain be promoted into the job? And will the undersheriff hail from Los Angeles? Stay tuned.

Her brand of leadership will consist of liberal LA County style bureaucracy. If you want a good example of cronyism and elitist mentality sit back and watch what happens to our Sheriffs Dept..
Why is everything a media spectacle? What is about this Sheriff’s position that makes them all want to be in the spotlight all of the time? Sheesh, all that’s changed is we get Hutchens mugging at the camera instead of Carona.
