Cook outraised Rohrabacher this spring

Democratic congressional hopeful Huntington Beach Mayor Debbie Cook outraised veteran incumbent Republican 
Dana Rohrabacher over the past three months. But Rohrabacher still has twice as much cash on hand as his challenger.
According to Federal Election Commission filings, Rohrabacher raised $78,712 from April 1 through June 30th. Cook collected $92,990 in campaign contributions.
But Rohrabacher has amassed $323,966 so far for his re-election bid to an 11th term compared with the $157,269 Cook has raised in an effort to unseat him.
Rohrabacher had $387,950 cash on hand as of June 30th, more than he has raised for this election cycle because he carried over some campaign cash from his last re-election bid. Cook had $97,392 in her campaign treasury.
The second quarter campaign filings are due to be filed by midnight tonight. I’ll be looking at the entire Orange County House delegation numbers tomorrow.

Even if cook raises a million, she is not going to win. She is pro illegal immigration & her environmental policies will give us $10 a gallon gas. Even as much as the OC Register pimps her, she is simply not electable.

Debbie Cook is a great candidate that understands the reality of our current oil situation. If we had listened to people like Cook, we might not have to worry about the price of gas.
And no one is “pro” illegal immigration.
Republicans have gotten away with far too much in the OC for too long and it’s time that we elected someone who cares about our County, regardless of their party.

I wouldn’t be as flakey as to say that anyone is “Pro” illegal immigration, maybe not as staunch a critic, but not pro. Mine is a camp that would rather spend half the time and energy in alternative measures that would shore up the sieve(s) that eat at our economy via illegal immigration rather than tough speak of amassing a boarder army halt the flow.
John and Ken hate speech doesn’t phase me much either since I understand that they too are first there for entertainment and sales with only enough factual information as to support their uprisings for fair and balanced usually doesn’t have the same emotive response.
Environmentalists have one thing very positive in their corner - they support or even seek out alternative forms of energy. Fossil fuels are a thing of the past, outdated for generations, yet kept as a primary source by our powerbrokers and stakeholders due to the enormous profit involved in almost free energy (all good things come to an end anyway).
More drilling and exploration is nothing more than red herring tied around the neck of a failing economy and state. If one doesn’t believe check out our prices for that energy even after this country instituted an illegal war to steal the resources of one of the richest countries on the planet - and our gas prices STILL doubled afterward.
Yes, we don’t know how well she might behave once in office. But I for one know that change is in order, for I don’t know how long we can hold on with more of the same.

What has Dana Rohrabacher done to stop illegal immigration? A big mouth doesn’t protect the borders.
Dana Rohr-a-Faker fakes caring about illegal immigration, but when he and his party were in charge they did jack nothing about it. There was a GOP Senate, House and Presidency and NOTHING was done about immigration. Has he ever written a bill to stop illegal immigration? Has he ever written one that his fellow GOP members would support?
He’s all talk and no action and he gets away with it because he knows that people will swallow his “act” hook, line and sinker
Time to throw all the bums out.

Rohbackoffer is a fraud. He’s the only surfer I’ve heard of who does nothing for the environment, supports the toll road, and opposes taking down the disastrous LB breakwater.
The guy who taught him how to surf told me he’s regretted that since day 1. Just a Bush stooge.

Cooks stance in illegal immigrations makes her pro illegal immigration. She lacks the courage to enforce the law.

It would be nice to have our rep in the 46th district not show up on satire shows mocking what they said. I’ve seen several about Dana including the last ones in which he made light of torture, “like hazing”. I hope we can remove him this year.
