Tomorrow last day to register for the Feb. 5 primary

January 21st, 2008, 1:39 pm · 1 Comment · posted by Martin Wisckol, Politics reporter

Tomorrow is the last day to register to voter in the Feb. 5 presidential primary. To accomodate later registrants, the Registrar of Voters is staying open until midnight, the county GOP HQ is staying open until 11:30 p.m. and the county Democratic HQ is open until 11:45. You can also register in all city halls throughout the county. Three — San Clemente, Rancho Santa Margarita and Mission Viejo — will remain open until 8 p.m. for those wanting to register.

Tomorrow is also the last day to modify your registration. Unaffiliated voters can request either a Democratic ballot or an American Independent ballot. Decline-to-state voters cannot vote in any other presidential primaries. Those registered with a party must vote in that party’s primary.

The Registrar of Voters is located at 1300 S. Grand Ave., Santa Ana.

The Republican Party headquarters is at 1800 W. Katella Ave., Suite 210, Anaheim.

The Democratic Party headquarters is at 200 N. Main St., Santa Ana.
