Janet gets another cold shoulder

September 28th, 2007, 4:26 pm · 2 Comments · posted by MARTIN WISCKOL

Team Van Tran continues to give county Supervisor Janet janet-nguyen.jpgNguyen the cold shoulder. Today, Assemblyman Tran and 12 other Vietnamese American elected officials from up and down the state sent this letter to Sen. Barbara Boxer, asking her support on a bill that would press Vietnam on human rights.

As in February’s supervisor election and in the elected officials office Team Tran opened in Little Saigon, Janet was not asked along with the Team.

The signators are a bipartisan group, further support of this “ethnicity over party” story I had in Sunday’s paper.

  1. LS Insider Says:

Why don’t you call Janet before you make such claims.

Janet has been all over the Vietnamese papers including Nguoi Viet over her trip to NY to protest in front of the United Nation last weekend and this week. She was joined by hundreds of VN-Americans all over the world. If you can’t read Vietnamese, then get someone on staff to do so.

She doesn’t need to write a letter. The others are too embarass that they didn’t do anything so they needed to write a letter.

Everyone in LS knows that this stunt that Van pulls is getting really old. He knows it too. Ask him what has he done for the community besides writing a letter?

  2. Janet the complainer Says:

LS Insider, aka , Tom Bonikowski Nguyen, aka Mr. Janet Nguyen,

Poor Janet. Left off the train again. This time by the rest of the Viet electeds in the state. The weather must be nice in New York in September. Must be frustrating as hell for Janet to be a political leper among the Vietnamese-American electeds.
